High school diploma or GED required: 
ESOL instruction included: 
Daily schedule: 
  • 16 weeks, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday
  • Last 4 weeks are internships at a partner business in the industry
  • Mandatory tour Wednesdays at 1:00 PM to determine eligibility and apply
  • Must have flexible work schedule: able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Meet minimum reading, writing, and arithmetic as well as basic kitchen fundamentals in intake test
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Specific eligibility requirements may apply depending on the funding or referral source
Special features: 
  • Program includes instruction by guest chefs and industry professionals, tours of restaurants, and food operation centers
  • Program includes preparation for earning ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
